Poem: Written By: Eliza Strong
Time tables,
I still see us use those labels
the ones we wear,
the ones we never give enough to tear.
We say, “Oh it’s okay,”
when really,
things in the world,
never let the truth be spoken.
some think,
It is just merely broken.
why can we not hold our hand one more time,
Maybe tell ourselves this may be fine.
But no.
We look at the stone wall
somehow we don’t all fall.
Why don’t we topple over
To get this to finally be over.
